Let us be your sounding board.
We know starting a project can feel overwhelming. But trust us when we say it’s completely normal to feel a bit stressed.
We believe it’s the little things that make all the difference. We answer the phone, listen, and communicate in a language you can actually understand.
This means the process is as stress-free (as possible), rewarding, and fulfilling for both of us.
Why should you work with us?
Over the past 8 years we have developed a proven design process that delivers award-winning results and happy clients.
We pride ourselves on the fact our clients often come back. And it all starts with a structured approach from day one.
-
We listen and help clarify your ideas, visions, and roadblocks. We also present ideas you may not have even thought about!
Additionally, a feasibility study at the beginning helps define your project from the start, saving time and reducing changes later. In this early phase, we gather key information about your site, needs, goals, and any zoning or code requirements.
You provide what you already have, such as surveys, plans, deeds, and space needs, and we use it to outline the scope and possibilities.
-
We help turn any initial uncertainty into clarity by guiding you through three essential steps:
defining what success looks like
aligning that vision with the realities of time, quality, and budget
creating simple decision‑making filters that keep your project on track.
Once your goal is clear, we determine which factors (i.e. time, quality, or price) matter most and ensure they support that vision.
From there, we craft a small set of guiding questions that act as your decision compass. These filters help protect your priorities, streamline choices, and support both the look and the function of the space.
After this stage, you’re set to move through your project with confidence and peace of mind.
-
This is the fun “What if?” stage. Together, we explore different options and figure out what design features matter most to you, whether that’s maximizing views, sunlight, or an indoor-outdoor connection.
Using the information we gathered earlier, we’ll create a few scaled design concepts. These options are realistic starting points that help spark conversation.
As we talk through what you like (and don’t), we’ll refine both the design and the priorities so the project stays aligned with your needs and your budget.
From there, we’ll blend the best ideas into one clear direction. We’ll also create simple 3D models so you can really start to picture how your future space will look.
-
Once we’ve agreed on the schematic design, we’ll start developing everything in more detail.
This is where we add features, refine ideas, and start locking in decisions such as window sizes, materials, and the overall look and feel. We’ll also coordinate where key elements such as mechanical units and electrical panels will go.
By the end of this phase, it’s a great time to get contractor estimates so we can make any budget tweaks before moving into construction drawings.
Next, we move into construction documents, which are the detailed drawings and specs that contractors, lenders, and councils rely on. These plans help avoid surprises during construction and keep everything running smoothly.
We’ll check in with you at each stage to make sure the design still feels right.
-
This is where your home or commercial space comes to life.
Rest assured, we’ll be with you every step of the way, ensuring everything is completed with the highest standard of care.
